About

Dorado 806 Projects is pleased to host VESSEL, a group show collaboration between Studio CROMA (CDMX) + Super Bien! (BERLIN) + Dorado 806 Projects (LA). VESSEL is about the alchemy of collaboration.

Dorado 806

Founded by artists Amelie Laurice and Meghan DeRoma, Dorado 806 Projects is an experimental art and exhibition project with spaces and happenings in Santa Monica and San Francisco, CA. Dorado hosts evolving shows and workshops that explore the questions and nature of being through many a lens—that of nature, process, material curiosity, esoteric knowledge, depth psychology, awe, humor, and sometimes magic.

Founded 2006 by Anne Katrin Stork/Carlos Silva/David Keating || Concept & organization with: Anne Katrin Stork (Sep 2007 - Mar 2019) , Irène Hug (Apr 2019 - Dec 2021) , Elisabeth Sonneck (since Mar 2018)

CROMA

CROMA is a contemporary art exhibition and production project founded by four artists from different backgrounds and currently directed by Margot Kalach, Ángela Leyva, and Aleph Escobedo. Emerging organically in 2020, CROMA operates as an expanded space that brings together artists’ studios, an exhibition space, workshops, screenings, a project room, and a sculptural space.

Since its inception, it has established itself as a hub for collective action grounded in critical thinking, experimentation, and recursivity. Its vision is centered on building a fertile artistic ecosystem in which critical production and collective support are fundamental pillars.
